VWV boosts procurement team in London with double hire

Veale Wasbrough Vizards has strengthened its public procurement law team with two new recruits in its London office.

Beverley McBain joins the firm from the Government Legal Service. She has led on a wide range of procurements in areas such as healthcare, IT, travel, and personnel.

McBain also has experience of successfully defending litigation challenges for clients.

Robert Prater meanwhile joins the team from the London Borough of Harrow where he worked as a public procurement and contracts lawyer.

His expertise is in advising local authorities and schools on a range of public procurement issues and drafting contracts for the provision of supplies, services or works.
