Water company appoints law firm to legal services contract
SES Water has appointed law firm Blake Morgan to a legal services contract worth an estimated £148,000.
SES Water, the trading name of Sutton and East Surrey Water PLC, provides water to around 282,000 customers and serves a population of approximately 675,000 people.
It said it required legal services “to support in the production, negotiation and development of agreements in accordance with legislative requirements”.
The legal services were divided into two lots:
- Corporate and commercial legal services.
- Water industry and regulatory services.
The first lot was awarded on the basis of a quality criterion of confidence to deliver (weighting: 30) and price (weighting: 70). The second lot was awarded on the basis of weightings of 70 and 30 respectively.
