One of the UK’s largest housing providers, Home Group, has appointed five law firms to a £4m legal services framework agreement for its development activity.

The successful firms were:

  • Bevan Brittan
  • Devonshires
  • DWF
  • Muckle
  • Penningtons Manches

Home Group, which is based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne but operates nationally, has around 55,000 homes. It has committed to building 10,000 new homes over five years.

The contract was awarded on the basis of account management (weighting: 15), project and quality management (20), key personnel (25), added value (10) and price (30).
