County council to appoint legal adviser for waste procurement
Derbyshire County Council is to appoint a legal services provider to advise on the procurement of waste collection and recycling services in the Derbyshire Dales.

The local authority said that the provider would be required to have in-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of:
- procurement and the Public Contract Regulations 2015;
- legislation relating to waste collection and recycling;
- advising on the process of procuring waste and recycling services on behalf of local authorities; and
- drafting contracts for waste and recycling services.
The contract is to run from 1 January 2019 to 31 August 2020.
