Commercial and administrative law QC joins Field Court
Stephen O’Rourke QC, who was called to the Scottish Bar in 2002 and made silk in 2017, has joined Field Court Chambers.

O’Rourke was called to the Bar of England and Wales this year. He specialises in complex and high value commercial and administrative law cases and also has experience in planning, property, agricultural law and land valuation appeals.
John Critchley, Head of Field Court Chambers, said: “We are delighted to be able to bring someone of Stephen’s calibre to our set. He has experience at every level up to and including the UK Supreme Court and is very well thought of by colleagues and opponents alike. His extensive knowledge of procurement law will likely be of huge value to our local authority clients, particularly after Brexit.
