Crown Commercial Service to hold engagement sessions on £400m agreement providing legal services to central government departments
The Crown Commercial Service has given notice of its intention to put in place an agreement for the provision of legal advice services to be utilised by UK Central Government departments.
- Details
The agreement, worth an estimated £400m, will also be made available to other public sector bodies to be identified in the contract notice.
The CCS said: “It is intended that this agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all legal services in respect of a number of general specialisms, finance specialisms and complex projects, required by UK Central Government Departments.”
It added that the indicative lots would be:
- General Legal Services;
- Financial and Complex Legal Services.
The CCS said it intends to hold market engagement sessions during November with industry experts and suppliers interested in potentially bidding for the resulting panel contracts.
In March 2017 the CCS named 18 law firms to a £320m, two-tier panel for the supply of general legal advice to crown bodies and other permitted users.
