Representing the authority in litigation
Maintaining a knowledge of issues facing the authority and being prepared to offer legal opinions
Supporting the development and knowledge of the insurance team.

The insurance team provide support to the Norse Group and as such require coverage across the country.

The current framework was established in September 2017 when the council appointed four firms to the contract.

The contract was awarded on the basis of scenarios (weighting: 30), cost effectiveness (10), risk management (5), training and development (5), fraud (5), added value (5), and price (40).
