EM Lawshare, the largest public sector legal services consortium in the UK, has revised its estimate for the value of its next framework up from £50m to £70m.

Procurement of the framework, which will cover 2022-2026, is being run by Nottinghamshire County Council.

Earlier this month EM Lawshare issued an addendum notice saying that the current framework for 2018-2022 would see spend of £45m rather than £30 as originally estimated.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, primarily the Pandemic, the participating authorities have had to use the services far more than anticipated,” the notice said.

In 2018 the consortium expanded its panel of law firms to seven, with the addition of Anthony Collins Solicitors, to cover 2018-2022. The other successful firms were: Bevan Brittan, Browne Jacobson, Freeths, Geldards, Sharpe Pritchard and Weightmans.
