LLG seeks candidates for Deputy Vice President as well as board director and national lead roles
LLG, the professional membership community of 4,500 lawyers and governance officers from local authorities across England and Wales, is recruiting for a variety of Board and National Lead Positions for appointment at its AGM in April 2022.

The positions available include the role of Deputy Vice President, which will begin in April this year and in due course lead to the role of President in 2024.
LLG is also recruiting two Membership Directors at board level. “These roles are designed to encourage members to engage at the top level of the organisation and to represent the membership’s interests,” the organisation said.
The third area of recruitment is of LLG National Leads, who "represent the profession and take a national view, liaising with high profile stakeholders with the ability to actively influence and shape the sector".
Due to the expiry of terms of office, LLG is looking for National Leads in the following areas:
- Children Services & Education
- Adult Social Care & Health
- Employment
- Housing & Regeneration
- Information Management
- Litigation & Licensing
- Monitoring Officers & Governance
- Partnerships and Procurement
- Planning, Highways and Environment
LLG is also recruiting a Training Director to lead on the training and conference provision of LLG with a focus on content.
The vacancies close on 14 February 2022.
