The Ministry of Justice has awarded a £4m contract to international law firm Hogan Lovells for litigation legal services related to collapsed construction firm Carillion.

Carillion, a major supplier to the public sector, went bust in January 2018. At the time it was estimated to be working on around 420 public sector contracts.

The MoJ’s contract with Hogan Lovells is due to run for three years and six months, ending on 30 November 2026.

The appointment was made via a call-off from a framework agreement.
