- Details
The framework was divided into the following lots:
- General legal advice to the Commissioner
- Representation in proceedings before the Welsh Language Tribunal, the County Court or the High Court, and barrister services
- Employment, commercial and governance
The successful firms (appointed to all three lots) were:

- Hugh James
The framework is due to last for four years.
Ioan Prydderch, Head of the Business Division at Hugh James, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed to advise the Welsh Language Commissioner. As Wales’ largest law firm, and a proud Welsh business, we have a responsibility to promote, use and grow the Welsh language. Although the firm has now grown to more than 700 people operating from five offices across Wales and England, we remain proud of our Welsh roots and are pleased to be working with an organisation whose purpose is to promote and facilitate the use of the Welsh Language.”
