Lawyers in Local Government (LLG) has launched the LLG Awards 2023 with six categories open for nominations.

The categories, sponsored by LLG’s corporate partners and the Local Government Legal Society Trust, are:

  • LLG Junior of the Year
  • LLG Lawyer of the Year
  • LLG Team of the Year
  • LLG Local Council Community Impact 
  • LLG Leadership in the Profession 
  • LLG Significant Contribution to Local Government Law and Practice

The winners will be announced in hybrid fashion at LLG’s Spring Conference on 9 June 2023 in Birmingham.  

More information on the categories and how to apply (including the downloadable nomination form) can be found here.

LLG requires logos, pictures and a statement about the team/individual by 8 May 2023.

The deadline for nominations is 24 April 2023.

At the LLG Awards 2022 the Children & Families Legal Team at Warwickshire County Council was named Team of the Year.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council was meanwhile highly commended in the category.
