Ian practises for a wide range of public authorities and corporate and trade association clients on transport infrastructure and other legislative projects; drafting, promoting and opposing Bills, orders and other forms of legislation. He is currently working on road pricing. He is a Parliamentary Agent and a member of the Scottish Parliament’s external drafting panel.

Ian is known for his personal commitment to many long-standing private clients in the field of non-contentious family work, including tax planning and a number of trusteeships.
