The Scottish Government has appointed 11 law firms to a £15m panel providing legal services to central government organisations in Scotland.

The framework agreement has been divided into six lots:

  1. Contract, commercial and corporate.
  2. Debt recovery.
  3. Litigation, reparation, employment and inquiries.
  4. Major infrastructure and commercial projects (incl related litigation).
  5. Property and related matters.
  6. One stop shop (encompassing all other lots).

The successful firms were:

  • Anderson Strathern (lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
  • Addleshaw Goddard (2)
  • Brodies (1, 3, 5)
  • CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (4)
  • DWF (4)
  • Gilson Gray (6)
  • Harper Macleod (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
  • MacRoberts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
  • Morton Fraser (2, 3, 5, 6)
  • Shepherd and Wedderburn (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
  • Thorntons Law (1)

The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 70) and price (weighting: 30) except lot 4 where the weightings were 80 and 20 respectively.
