Law firm Bevan Brittan has appointed Colin McConaghy, a commercial projects specialist in its Bristol office, as a partner in its mid-year promotions round.

McConaghy specialises in complex public-private partnerships, energy and outsourcing transactions, and advises a broad range of clients, the firm said.

Bevan Brittan has also appointed four new associates:

  • Ruth Atkinson-Wilks (Clinical Risk, Birmingham)
  • Elena Goodfellow (Clinical Risk, Birmingham)
  • Sarah Newton (Property, Bristol)
  • Hannah Ward (Commercial & Infrastructure, Bristol)

The appointments took effect from 1 November 2019.
