About the speakers
Richard Drabble Richard Drabble QC was called to the Bar in 1975 and took silk in 1995. He is a Bencher of Inner Temple; a former Chairman of ALBA and a current member of the Bar Council’s Law Reform Committee. |
Luke Wilcox Luke Wilcox has an established practice, specialising in planning, rating and valuation, highways and property law. As a planner, Luke appears regularly both in public inquiries and in legal challenges in the Courts (including appearing unled against silks). He acts for developers, LPAs and the Secretary of State. He has particular experience in housing, heritage, highways and valuation/viability matters in the planning field. |
Miranda Butler Miranda has substantial experience across the spectrum of immigration, community care and public law. Her expertise includes claims relating to unlawful detention, prisoners’ rights, trafficking, and asylum support. She is currently instructed on the Infected Blood Inquiry. |
Katharine Elliot Katharine has a diverse practice, encompassing planning, environment and public law, particularly Court of Protection, mental health, education, election and tax matters. Her extensive knowledge of trusts, probate and general private client law makes her exceptionally well placed to advise in cases where public and private law issues meet. She also handles cases at the interface of public and criminal law. |
