Sharpe Pritchard bolsters private sector energy and infrastructure offering with double hire

Law firm Sharpe Pritchard has hired two senior legal specialists to meet rising private sector demand for advice on energy and infrastructure projects.

Bridget Newman joins the firm as an Associate from Bell Gully in New Zealand, where she advised government clients on high-value infrastructure and energy transactions.

Sharpe Pritchard said Newman’s track record includes steering complex regulatory frameworks and structuring public-private partnerships across a broad spectrum of public sector priorities. 

Joining alongside her is Nimoy Kher, previously Sole Legal Counsel at EDF Renewables’ Commercial & Industrial Solar Division.

Kher brings deep expertise in the legal and regulatory aspects of renewable generation and large-scale infrastructure delivery, the firm said. He joins as a Managing Associate.

“Nimoy has advised from project inception through to operation, making him well placed to guide clients through today’s increasingly complex financing models,” it added.
