Sharpe Pritchard has promoted construction lawyer Helen Batter to partner, effective from 4 August 2025.
- Details
Batter joined the law firm in 2019, as an Associate in the construction team, before her promotion to Managing Associate in April 2024.
During her time with the firm, she has completed her MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King’s College London.
Rachel Murray-Smith, Partner at Sharpe Pritchard, said: “Helen has a considerable range of construction experience across both the public and private sectors. Her practice spans central government, local government, the registered provider sector, as well as education providers and emergency services. It is an incredibly exciting time for our growing team, and I look forward to Helen’s contribution to the team’s ongoing development and success.”
Justin Mendelle, Senior Partner at Sharpe Pritchard, commented: “I am delighted to welcome Helen to the partnership – she is a hugely respected member of the construction team and her collaborative, professional and personable approach to the law is highly valued by colleagues and clients alike.”
In April this year Sharpe Pritchard promoted dispute resolution specialist Joe Walker and planning lawyer Emily Knowles to partner.
