High Court judge grants council injunction preventing overnight camping for airshow
Tendring District Council has secured a High Court injunction banning Clacton Classic Air Show visitors from camping alongside the seafront overnight in tents, campervans or mobile homes.

Tendring has been organising the free air show, which takes place over Clacton's seafront, for three decades and first secured an injunction banning encampments in 2013.
The injunction, granted jointly to Tendring and Essex County Council, follows a similar approach taken in previous years and, according to a statement from Tendring, continues to be a "key measure in maintaining the smooth running" of the event.
The order, which was secured on Thursday (24 July), prohibits the use of campervans, mobile homes, caravans, and tents in restricted zones that line Clacton's beachfront.
It will be in place for just over two weeks, beginning on 14 August and ending on 30 August.
Anyone found breaching the injunction could face contempt of court proceedings, which may result in a fine, imprisonment, or the seizure of assets.
Cllr Ivan Henderson, cabinet member for Economic Growth, Regeneration and Tourism at Tendring District Councill, said the legal measure has proven to be a "strong deterrent" in the past, adding: "Clacton Airshow is one of the biggest events on our calendar, drawing in tens of thousands of people over two days.
"To help safeguard this fantastic event, we've once again secured an injunction to prevent unauthorised encampments."
